Welcome to the Farmers' Market at the Village
Disc Dogging at the Farmers' Market
This Saturday, September 4, Disc Dogging is back at the Farmers' Market...
Members of Southern Ontario Disc Houndz will be conducting free clinics on the sport of disc dogging from 10am-12pm. Watch the pros toss the disc with their dogs and then learn their tricks.
You and your dogs will also have a chance to engage in question and answer sessions on grooming and pet health with representatives from Best Friends and Raina's Grooming.
Treat yourself and your dog to FREE lessons, and your dog will never look at a Frisbee the same way again!
If you can't make it this Saturday, look out for the Skyhoundz sanctioned disc dogging competition on October 9th.

Cooking and Seed Saving Demos (Saturday, August 21)
One of our fabulous vendors, Beth Smith of Ridge Meadow Farms, will kick things off at 10:30am with "The Circle of Life: Saving Seeds in Your Own Backyard." If you want some great tips from one of your local farmers, then don't miss out on this!

Following Beth at 11am, Chef Anthony Greco of deLuca's Wine Country Restaurant will be presenting the second Market Dinner Cooking Demo. We call it a "Market Dinner" cooking demo because customers will be able watch the demo, purchase a prepackaged bag containing the ingredients and recipe card, and try out the recipe for dinner that night!
Don't miss out,
The Market season is in full swing, and the vendors are overflowing with produce! Check out what's available by viewing our "In Season" page, and make your way to the Market tomorrow, Saturday, August 14!

Hello Market Fans,
This is one weekend at the Farmers' Market that you won’t want to miss. Not only are we co-hosting a great charity event with CIBC and featuring live music from local musician James Brown, but Chef Anthony Greco, of deLuca's Wine Country Restaurant, will also be conducting the Market's first "Market Dinner" cooking demo. We are calling it a "Market Dinner" cooking demo because customers will be able watch the demo, purchase a prepackaged bag containing the ingredients and recipe card, and try out the recipe for dinner that night! The demo begins at 11.
We are also very excited to be hosting a perfect replica of Batman’s Batcycle. Thanks to our local CIBC branch, you will have the opportunity to take a photo with the Batcycle, Batman, and the Riddler for only $5! $2 from each photo taken will go towards CIBC’s Run for the Cure, an annual event that raises funds for breast cancer research.
See you there on Saturday, June 26!
"Cherry-ripe, ripe, ripe, I cry,
